Green beans are great for the soil they grow in, releasing small amounts of nutrients back into the soil during and after they grow instead of taking any away. They do this using the nitrogen fixing bacteria that they pair with. 

Green beans are grown in both bush form and vine form. Bushes can reach up to 20 inches and vines can reach up to 10 feet long.
