At Corteva Agriscience, our purpose is to enrich the lives of those who produce and those who consume, for generations to come. We’re working to protect and preserve the source of our food and help our agricultural communities thrive.

We equip farmers around the globe with the solutions they need to produce what our food system and global population demands, while conserving resources and sustaining the land. CONSERVATION PROJECTS

Farm Journal Foundation is proud to join together with the following partners to share the story of agriculture and conservation:

Creating butterfly and pollinator habitat

In partnership with Pheasants Forever and the National 4-H Council, Corteva Agriscience is supporting monarch butterfly and pollinator habitats at our locations throughout the United States. Through this program, we will engage 4-H youth to help increase pollinator habitats and populations, supporting biodiversity. Learn more about the Corteva Grows Pollinator Habitat program.

Helping farmers reduce GHG emissions

Corteva’s nitrogen stabilizers help keep nitrogen at the root zone, reducing nitrous oxide emissions in the air. With a nitrogen stabilizer, emissions are reduced 51 percent or 2.25 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent emissions annually. That’s equivalent to taking more than 475,000 cars off the road for a year. Learn more at nitrogenmaximizers.com.

Advancing sustainability in the Mississippi watershed

We’re working with The Nature Conservancy to protect water quality and help farmers produce food more sustainably. The initiative will accelerate environmental sustainability, advance soil health and nutrient management, and increase productivity for farmers who operate in the Mississippi watershed.
